Murano impressions
I had another flameworking session in the heart of the artistic glass industry - Murano island, Venice (Italy) last month.
Finally got the certificate from the school so I'm officially a lampworker :D
Spent all my money on glass and tools, and now I'm poor and happy :P
Here are some photo impressions of the trip - business and pleasure in it's finest ;)

And we're on the brink of entering the European Union in which we'll e

Glass masters course in Murano
In two weeks I'm going to Murano, Italy, to take my first professional course in lampworking.
Being selftaught, you can imagine how excited I am to finally meet and learn from professional glass artists! :excited: And not just from anybody, but from Davide Penso, owner of the Glass Academy in Murano ( http://www.davidepenso.it/ ) and Kristina Logan, who is one of my favourite lampwork artists ever! -- check out her work: http://www.kristinalogan.com/
Yes, it's expensive, and I've been saving for it for some time... but I just know it's going to be so much worth it, and more!
And now, since I'm in glass mania mood, I'm giving you this eye c
